We stayed at this hotel because we found an extremely discounted deal online. It is normally very expensive and I do not think we would pay the full price to stay here, but we loved our stay. We were traveling with our daughter, who was 9 months old. We received an upgraded room/suite, which had a beautiful view. We really loved the ''wine hour" too. If you drive a Hybrid vehicle, like we do, then your parking is also discounted, which would normally have been very expensive. We loved this hotel. It was stunningly beautiful and had a wonderful "spa like" atmosphere.

We recently stayed at the Solamar for our second time but this experience was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. SOMETHING WAS STOLEN FROM OUR ROOM!!! We reported this this the hotel manager and she had the nerve to question our intergrity by saying "none of our people would do that." I've stayed in hotels around the world and in U.S and have never had this happen before at all. The hotel staff came up to our room after the incident to "double check" the room and the item was not found. I know we had the item because I saw it on my fiance the night before. A night manager called us and told us that we would be compensated for our loss (we were not looking for that) and nothing happened. When we checked out I told the manager we would not recommend any of our friends to this hotel and that we would write a review about this and she could of cared less. We are not the complaining type at all. The managers at this hotel are horrible. WARNING: Do not stay at this hotel! Items can be stolen from your room.

stayed with my fiance over the weekend and loved it! the food is so delicious. we had the braised short ribs and the bennies for breakfast. the outdoor pool atmosphere at night is mellow and cool with the firepits. decor is trendy. can't say enough how great this hotel is! will definitely come back!

stayed with my fiance over the weekend and loved it! the food is so delicious. we had the braised short ribs and the bennies for breakfast. the outdoor pool atmosphere at night is mellow and cool with the firepits. decor is trendy. can't say enough how great this hotel is! will definitely come back!

I recently stayed there and had a great time. The hotel lobby has a Living Room with complimentary wine hour from 5pm to 6pm. They are really pet friendly and we saw several dogs there. The bedroom was spacious which we did not expect for a downtown hotel and the decor was really chic. Check out the jacuzzi tubs!!!! There is a pool side bar / lounge that has the most amazing views. The weekend we were there they actually had a wedding up there. The restaurant is far from the typical hotel restaurant. Delicious food and really friendly staff. We were really happy with the overall stay and can't wait to go back.
